Unique working 5th generation family farm in the foothills of the Black Mountains just in Herefordshire where England and Wales become one. We are extremely passionate about home and locally produced food and really believe in the ethos of grown not flown , our menu specialities are our home-made dishes containing home produced free range lamb and beef with most of our vegetables being home grown or locally sourced. Our en-suite accommodation is based in a private annexe on the end of our own licensed farm restaurant which is all part of a tastefully converted 400 year old barn oozing with history. White Haywood Farm is based in a tranquil & very scenic rural area with many footpaths leading from the farmyard for the person/family who want to enjoy a free adventurous walks , with the most popular footpath leading from right outside the door up onto The Cats Back ( The Black Hill) to walk the ridge to the famous Hay Bluff following in the famous footsteps of authors Bruce Chatwin, Raymond Williams & Owen Sheers. We are the ideal and relaxed one stop shop to eat, sleep and drink whatever the time of year. Pets welcome in one of our rooms only so please check if available.
