The Unicorn Hotel

With parts of the building dating back 700 years, this former coaching inn stands on the market square in the ancient city of Ripon, at the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. In the heart of Ripon, the Unicorn is just a 5-minute walk from this historic citys cathedral and close to all of the local shops and amenities. The stunning scenery and breathtaking natural beauty of the Yorkshire Dales are within easy reach. Today, the Unicorn boasts en suite rooms, all with TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a restaurant and 2 bars serving local real ales and bar meals. Limited free on-site parking is available for guests in the private car park but there is also public paid parking available nearby. There is free WiFi available in the public areas. Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), wearing a face mask is mandatory in all indoor common areas. An email will alert the guest to this, along with a breakdown of the charges. Any booking with 5+ rooms will be subject to different terms and conditions. They will be required to pay 50% deposit within 24 hours. As the building is grade 2 listed, it does not have a lift or disabled access and there are no ground floor rooms. Please inform the property in advance if you would prefer a room on a lower floor. Please note, the property does not have the facilities to handle cash payments.
