The Corner House

The Corner House is a quintessentially traditional English Bed and Breakfast. We have been offering our services to people around the world for nearly 40 years and are pleased that many return time and time again! Our breakfasts are traditional and plentiful, but we can provide you with whatever you would like. Many things have changed over the years but our warm welcome and genuine concern for the comfort of our guests will always remain the same. The Corner House has a large garden and we love to spend time out there. There is always plenty to do and you will often find us amidst the plants and borders and vegetables! Beyond the garden are the paddocks where the horses spend their days. We love our guests to enjoy our garden too and you are always welcome to sit and read, chat or enjoy a glass of wine on a warm summers evening. We are ideally situated to explore the many picturesque towns, beautiful gardens, historical castles, and so much more in the surrounding Kent and Sussex countryside. The ancient town of Rye is just one mile away with its quaint cobbled streets , little shops and eating places. There are fine beaches, steam trains and wonderful walks! Situated just 1 mile from the ancient town of Rye, The Corner House offers free high-speed WiFi and free onsite parking. This bed and breakfast is an ideal base for exploring the nearby historic houses, towns, and gardens in the Kent and Sussex countryside. Each room includes a flat-screen TV, a seating area, and tea and coffee making facilities. The en-suite or private bath or shower rooms have a hairdryer. Some of the rooms have views of the beautiful garden. In the mornings, hearty cooked breakfast is offered in the dining room. Lighter options are also available. Dishes are cooked to order using locally sourced produce and served alongside homemade preserves. The Corner House is just 8 minutes drive from Rye Golf Club. The coast is just 4 miles away and offers lovely beaches. There are also coastal or countryside walks and bicycle rides in the area.
