Hostel Nueva Alta is situated and located in one of the most traditional and seventeenth century colonial neighborhoods of the city of Cusco, it is an old street just 7 -8 minutes from the Plaza de Armas of Cusco, and two blocks from the market center, our establishment has comfortable beds, and (completely straight and new alpaca blankets) orthopedic mattresses to rest after a long journey, our hostel offers service only and no bunk beds or staterooms, this gives us the difference from other lodges that exist around. Located in Cuscos historic centre, Hostel Nueva Alta offers accommodation featuring free WiFi access. Rooms here are all fitted with new furniture, TV, bed linen and towels. Some rooms have a private bathroom. At Hostel Nueva Alta guests will find a 24-hour front desk, and will be able to arrange shuttle service for an extra charge. The neighbourhood counts with a police help station, which is only 50 metres from the property. Parking for motorcycles is available only for an extra fee. The guest house is located only 5 blocks from the Main Square of Cusco and 200 metres from the Central Market. Wanchaq Train Station is a 12-minute drive from the property and Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport is a 15-minute drive away. Airport shuttle services are available at a surcharge. Additionally, guests can access public transportation to the airport only 20 metres away from Hostel Nueva Alta. Please note motorcycle parking is available but guests must pay an extra fee. Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%.To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IGV), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee. Foreign business travelers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation.
