Alkmini Monemvasia Castle House

ALKMENE HOUSE is located inside the Castle Town of Monemvassia, in a very quiet area but close enough to the main market street and the Portello-swimming rocky strip below the murals. It has been recently restored in an exemplary way, preserving and enhancing its unique medieval structural and architectural features that are combined with modern facilities and style. The house has access to a small courtyard, the sides of which are composed by a historic communal oven and the miniature facade of the chapel of St. Andrew also restored by the owners. The house contains a kitchenette with all necessary utensils and cutlery to prepare a light meal or breakfast. The house is distinguished for its stone built walls and vaulted roof and the decoration with authentic pieces of neoclassical period. It is also equipped with WF Internet and air condition
