In the heart of Ireland, three miles (5 km) north of Athlone, Wineport Lodge has a magnificent location, on the shores of the inner lakes of Lough Ree on the River Shannon.
Every spacious, light-filled room boasts stunning views over the water and the west-facing balconies mean you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets.
The large en suite bathrooms have under-floor heating and spacious shower areas. Some rooms have baths and all come with luxurious bathroom products from Voya.
A range of relaxing and therapeutic spa treatments is available at Cedarwood Spa.
The bar offers superb cocktails and the restaurant serves fine cuisine, made with the freshest seasonal produce available locally.
You can even enjoy breakfast in your room at no additional cost, for the ultimate in luxurious relaxation. Our new boutique spa is under construction, it will be a great addition to the Lodge, with a bright relaxation lounge and an outdoor heated lake shore infinity pool. Construction work will be ongoing until the end of September 2021, so please pardon our appearance for the duration of your visit. We will aim to keep the inconvenience to a minimum and apologise in advance for any disruption this may cause to your stay.
