About This Hotel
Situated at the west end of Callander on the edge of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, the Victorian country house style boutique Westerton Bed and Breakfast is exclusively for adults. It features an acre of private gardens, which lead down to the River Leny and include a terrace for guests to enjoy.
A super king-size brass bed is featured in each spacious en suite room at Westerton, as well as free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with DVD player and views of the river or countryside. A mini fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and a hairdryer are also included.
A traditional full Scottish breakfast is served in the dining room, which offers views of the garden. Healthier options and house specials include Scottish salmon, fresh fruit salad, or homemade yoghurt. Local shops and restaurants are close by.
Scenic mountain walks can be taken through Loch Lomond National Park, as well as water activities like fishing, hiking, and cycling. With a quiet location, the house is ideal for exploring the beautiful scenery around the lochs and hills of the Trossachs. The medieval stronghold of Doune Castle, as featured in "Outlander", is just a 15-minute drive away and features a nature trail within the castle grounds. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.
