Thredbo YHA Hostel

Thredbo YHA is located in the heart of Thredbo Village, within Kosciuszko National Park and 400 metres from the bus stop on Banjo Drive. It offers a shared kitchen, a common lounge area, and a communal balcony with barbecue facilities.

Guests can choose to stay in a lively dormitory room or in the comfort of a private room. Some rooms include a full kitchen and a lounge area. In winter, there is a self-contained apartment available, which offers a full kitchen and lounge area. Guest laundry facilities are available onsite.

The extensive communal balcony boasts views of the ski slopes and walking trails of the Kosciuszko mountain range. The staff at reception can assist with arranging activities like mountain biking, horse riding, cross country skiing and guided hiking trips.

YHA Thredbo is 500 metres from the nearest food store. It is a 2.5-hour drive from central Canberra and Canberra Airport. Please inform Thredbo YHA in advance of your expected arrival time. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
