The Royal Clarence Hotel (on the Seafront) is the only hotel situated opposite the beach in Burnham-on-Sea. Free WiFi is available in all areas of the Hotel. Each room at The Royal Clarence Hotel (on the Seafront) has a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities. Bedding and bed linen is provided. Towels and toiletries are provided. Some rooms offer sea views. Guests can enjoy far-reaching sea views toward the North Devon and Welsh coastlines in the seafront veranda. Two self-catering holiday rental apartments are also available. They are located on the ground floor of the property. Each unit has a kitchenette, sofa, en-suite, dining table, TV and a comfy double bed. There are several restaurants, cafes and pubs located within a 2-minute walk of the hotel and guests are welcome to bring takeaway food back to be consumed in the first floor seafront veranda. The property also has 2 vending machines offering sweets, snacks and drinks. The hotel is located just 2 miles from junction 22 of the M5 motorway. Hinkley Point C Park and Ride is 6 miles away and can be viewed from Bridgwater Bay. Championship Golf can be played at Burnham and Berrow Golf Club which is a 5-minute drive away. The Somerset Rebels speedway team are located 3 miles from the hotel. Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury Tor, Wells Cathedral, Weston-super-Mare, Clarkes Village and Taunton can be reached in under 30 minutes. Highbridge train station is 2.3 miles away. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are in effect at this property. In accordance with government guidelines to minimise transmission of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), this property currently isnt accepting guests from certain countries, during dates where such guidelines exist. It is not possible to stay at this property for Coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantine purposes. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A damage deposit of GBP 100 is required. The host charges this 14 days before arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Reception closes at 18:00 each evening, however, there is a self check-in system for guests arriving out of hours. When Reception is closed later, guests can make use of our user-friendly SELF CHECK-IN system to arrive at a convenient time. If a guest has not arrived when we move to the Self Check-In system we will CALL, send a TEXT MESSAGE or leave a VOICEMAIL. If we dont have a valid UK mobile phone number or we cannot make contact by telephone, we will send an EMAIL. This must be arranged by Reception & the Guest by 1900 hrs to be considered in place, please do not assume otherwise and simply arrive late, thanks. We cannot guarantee your admission into the hotel if not arranged by 1900. We will provide a Safe Number and a Safe Code. Guests use those details to access one of our key safes located just inside the main entrance. The room key card will be inside the safe The central heating operates from 06:00 to 10:00 and from 17:00 to 23:00. Guests who require additional heating outside these times may hire a portable heater from reception during opening hours. Guests are welcome to bring takeaway food back to the property to eat on the first floor seafront veranda. Plates, cutlery, napkins, glassware and a microwave are provided. Please note that there is no elevator within the property. Guests with mobility concerns should contact the property to discuss arrangements prior to booking.
