Sydney Glebe Point YHA Hostel

Whether you are in Sydney for a night or a week, our hostel can help you make the most of your stay. Its a great spot to get to know other travellers, and live in a popular Sydney suburb close to the city. Located in the inner Sydney suburb of Glebe, YHA Glebe Point is surrounded by cafes, restaurants, bars and markets. It features a rooftop barbecue area with city views.

For your entertainment there is a billiards table, table tennis table and darts. Tuesday nights are $5 pizza and billiards nights, Wednesday nights are free movie nights, Friday nights are $5 sunset BBQ nights, on Saturday the Glebe Markets are open and Sunday afternoons you can enjoy a free soup while playing board games.

All rooms at Glebe Point YHA include heating, ceiling fans and access to shared bathroom facilities. Private double and twin rooms with bedside lights and tea/coffee making facilities are available.

Guests have access to a shared lounge area with TV room, plus a dining room and shared kitchen. There is an internet kiosk and free WiFi is available in public areas. The tour desk can arrange local sightseeing activities.

Sydney city centre is just 10 minutes by bus from Glebe Point YHA. It is a 20-minute walk to Darling Harbour and Sydney Central Station is 2.5 km away. You must show a valid photo ID upon check-in.

Children are welcome, but are not permitted to stay in dormitory rooms.
Children aged 17 need a letter from a parent/legal guardian to stay in dormitory rooms.
If children are 16 or under, they will need a parent/legal guardian aged over 21 to stay with them in a private room.
