Shipwreck Motel

The Shipwreck Motel is located within a 2-minute walk of Fort Myers Beach and the many restaurants, bars and shopping offered in the area. It features an on-site gift store. We are nestled in the heart of Ft Myers beach and you will have access to the most beautiful sunset views.

We no longer have swimming pools but the gulf is just at the end of the sidewalk.

A kitchenette that includes a microwave and a refrigerator is in every room at Shipwreck Motel, Inc. The rooms are brightly coloured and have tropical decor.

A boat dock is available to all guests at the Motel Shipwreck. There is also a picnic area with BBQ grills, as well as on-site laundry facilities.

Bowditch Point Park is 1 mile from the motel. Estero Bay Preserve State Park is 2 miles away. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
The Shipwreck Motel was originally constructed in the 50s and 60s in the Times Square area. Since the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) we have undertaken projects and implemented changes to improve accessibility. However, we may not be fully accessible to every individual with a disability depending on their particular disability and need for accommodation.

We have attempted to identify and describe features at the Shipwreck Motel and its guestrooms in enough detail to reasonably permit individuals with disabilities to access independently whether the Shipwreck Motel meets their own accessibility needs. However, we cannot possibly list each and every feature of every room, amenity, space or element applicable under the ADA. We are also aware that individuals with disabilities are not all the same and may require different or unique accessibility features to accommodate them.
