The Shaar Hagolan Country Lodging is located south of the Sea of Galilee, just 4 km from the beach and 15 km from the historical city of Tiberias.
The property is perfect for people appreciating the peaceful and quiet kibbutz location, while being close to the attractions of the area. These include rafting in the Jordan River, kayaking and fishing in the Sea of Galilee, and other sports and adventure activities.
The kibbutz offers an indoor swimming pool, open all year round. There is also a mini zoo, basketball court, football court and playground.
All air-conditioned, rooms here come with a fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Some have a balcony. Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.

Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. For guests booking from outside of Israel, the tax is not included in the total price.
Seven days before arrival the property will charge the full amount of the stay using the credit card provided. In case of late cancellation or no-show the credit card will be refunded with the full amount after deducting the one-night cancellation fee. When booking more than 5 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply. Please note that check-in time on Saturdays and Jewish Holidays is from 20:00.
