Each room includes a hospitality tray, a flat-screen TV and a seating area with coffee table. Featuring a shower, the private bathroom also comes with a hairdryer and free toiletries.
Breakfast is served each morning in the bright and airy dining room. A home-cooked breakfast including homemade hash browns and locally sources Cumbrian sausages and dry cured bacon is offered, as well as a range of muesli, granola, cereals, yoghurts and fresh fruit juices. There is also a fish option, and freshly ground coffee and tea is served with a choice of toast and high quality preserves.

There are many shops, cafes and eateries located a few minutes walk from Parkfield House. The bed and breakfast is 600 metres from Derwentwater lake, 400 metres from Theatre by the Lake. It is a 12-minute drive to Whinlatter Forest Park for many walks and Go Ape. Please inform Parkfield House in advance of your expected arrival time.
