Gilgara Retreat is located in the heart of the picturesque Margaret River wine region of Western Australia. There are 2 types of accommodation on offer, the homestead and garden apartments. Gilgara Homestead offers private rooms with en suites. The traditional country home-style shared accommodation includes common areas for guests to access including a shared kitchen, living and dining area. The Homestead features a large fireplace in the shared lounge room and separate reading room with board games. The shared dining room has a kettle, toaster, microwave, small fridge, tea and coffee for guests use. Located separately from the Homestead, the Gilgara Garden Apartments offer private, spacious and self-contained accommodation, in a modern, split-level, loft style apartment with garden views. Each suite comes with a spa bath, king bed, lounge area, TV, DVD player and a fully equipped kitchenette for self catering. Gilgara Retreat is nestled on a hillside near the corner of Caves Rd and Carters Rd. It is just a 5-minute drive from Margaret River town. Gracetown, Prevelly beaches, the Cape to Cape trail and Margaret River vineyards are all within a 5-minute drive away. Surrounded by manicured gardens and grass lawns in a beautiful country environment, Gilgara offers an ideal escape. Please inform Gilgara Retreat in advance of your expected arrival time. Please note that for guests staying in Gilgara Homestead, rooms are opened depending on how many guests are booking. For example, when booking for 4 guests, you will only have access to 2 bedrooms. When booking for 5-6 guests, you will have access to 3 bedrooms only. An additional charge will apply if 2 guests require separate rooms.
