Garth Engan is a one-bedroom bed and breakfast with a private lounge located in the Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri / Snowdonia National Park, a 15-minute drive from Harlech and its castle, with a number of sandy beaches a short drive away, including Shell Island (Mochras). There is free WiFi access available, parking on site and bicycle storage area. Each morning Garth Engan offers guests a full Welsh breakfast made, where possible, using locally sourced ingredients. The cooked breakfast is accompanied by homemade bread and preserves. The property provides its own private water that is treated via UV lamp and two-stage filtration. The private guest lounge features a log-burning stove and a TV with Freesat channels and a selection of DVDs. As well as a private shower room, guests have exclusive use of the garden terrace which can be accessed from the guest bedroom. There are several country walking routes in the immediate area including direct access to the Taith Ardudwy Way and Llanbedr village boasts 3 thriving public houses, which all serve food.
