Since 1993, we have been offering travellers a cosy and friendly place to stay, with homely qualities within a friendly community of people from around the world. A sociable, chilled place for backpackers to take a breath and feel at home. The building is grade II listed and oozes charm! It is important to us to always have a fully equipped kitchen, large communal spaces and very high-speed wifi. What makes Baggies what it is however is the people staying inside, the friendships that are made and the kind, welcoming atmosphere. We love hosting people from all over the world, exchanging stories and learning about different cultures. Our philosophy is take a breath, enjoy our ambience, and take some time out to explore the city further. A common theme for our guests at Baggies is that they plan to stay just a weekend and end up staying for weeks! A grade II listed building just 2 minutes walk from the beach, Baggies Backpackers is located in seaside town of Brighton & Hove. With free WiFi access in public areas, The Brighton Centre is 10 minutes walk away and the famous Lanes are a 17-minute journey on foot. With either a sea view or a view of the town, each room benefits from shared bathroom facilities. At Baggies Backpackers there is a shared kitchen. Other facilities offered at the property include a shared lounge, a games room and luggage storage. The hostel is a mile from Brighton Pier and SEA LIFE Brighton. The Royal Pavilion is 17 minutes walk, and Brighton Train Station is a 6-minute drive from Baggies Backpackers. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform Baggies Backpackers in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. A security deposit of GBP 10 is required upon arrival for incidentals. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Kindly note that guests under the age of 18 can only be accommodated in the private rooms. Please note that the propertys reception desk is open between 09:00 and 21:00. Early/late check-ins and early/late check-outs must be arranged prior to arrival. A cash deposit of GBP 10 per key is required upon arrival. This will be returned once guests return the keys back to the property.
