About Backpackers By The Bay
The Airlie town centre is a hub for cafes, bars, restaurants and shopping, where you can find souvenirs, art galleries and swimwear. The Airlie Beach markets are held every Saturday morning on the Esplanade, for locally made jewellery, clothes and crafts. The Airlie Beach Lagoon is situated right in the centre of Airlie Beach.
The large, environmentally-friendly hostel is fully equipped with a shared kitchen, laundry, pool, hammocks, outdoor exercise station area, BBQ and library. Free tea and coffee is available all day at the hostel. All rooms are serviced daily.
Backpackers By The Bay offers movies for guests to view anytime in an outdoor communal area so you can mingle and make new friends as well as hand-feed the wild cockatoos every morning and afternoon around the pool area.
Guests can also take advantage of our tour booking services including ALL local/last minute discounts as well as free drinks and accommodation.
