Amanda Gish House

Amanda Gish House was built in 1896 by Amanda and Henry B Gish. It was built for their son, Edwin and his bride, Lillian. Lillian and Edwin raised 5 children in this beautiful Victorian style house located on the edge of the quaint town of Elizabethtown. Dave & Ann Royer restored it back to its original splendor when they purchased the property in 1990 and opened it as a Bed & Breakfast in 2001. The Bed & Breakfast has a beautiful wrap-around front porch, to relax on, where you can smell the chocolate wafting from the Mars chocolate factory, just down the street. The patio and gardens are also a tranquil place to unwind after a long day of sightseeing . The gardens are filled with a variety of lovely perennials blooming from spring until frost. Amanda Gish House is ideally located within a short drive to all Lancaster County, Dauphin County and York County attractions.
