It is 20 minutes (10 km) from Edinburgh's main train station (Waverley) whilst Edinburgh International Airport is 15 minutes away (regular bus services available). The closest beach and the sea are about 200 m away. Links to the public transport network and the closest nightclub are located 10 km away in the city centre. Shops, restaurants, bars and pubs are approximately 3 km from the hotel. Renovated in 2003, the hostel comprises a total of 82 rooms spread over 3 floors. Guests are welcomed in the spacious foyer with 24-hour reception desk, a safe and lifts. There is a bar and a small supermarket in the hostel. In addition, the hostel offers use of a public Internet terminal and laundry services are also available. There is a bike hire service and on-site parking spaces are available for those arriving by car. Each bedroom offers sleeping room for 6 people with personal reading lights. The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis. Please note if booked for less than 6 people, then it might be necessary to share the room with other guests. Central heating features as standard. Guests may select their breakfast from a buffet.
